Cougar & Lynx Hunting
Cougar/Lynx are hunted with hounds in mid November through December. The best time is after a fresh snowfall, which provides optimum tracking conditions. The Elk Valley has a very dense lynx population, and offers tremendous opportunity on these shy cats. Our territory also holds a good number of mature Toms, with some specimens making Boone and Crocket. Our favourite hunt combines both species for a great cat hunting experience.
